Loyal, truthful, brutally honest, and ultimately the only voice-of-reason in a George Bush administration that lacked the understanding and experience of such a man. The proverb, “Tell Me Your Friends and I Will Tell You Who You Are”, can find the truth in its meaning in a Bush administration that was filled with nothing but same-minded gangs who acted first and analyzed MUCH later. Of course, Powell was the only exception. And guess what happened to that voice of reason? It got abused, used and finally got thrown under the bus. But to date he rightfully remains to be the most trusted political figure in the U.S., with approval ratings in the ninety’s.
